About Holli

Holli brings over 25 years of holistic experience to the care of cats, combining intuition, mindfulness, and a deep love for animals. Her extensive background in the healing arts shapes a calm, grounded approach, creating a serene environment where feline guests feel safe, understood, and fully supported.

Her journey includes decades of practicing and teaching yoga, meditation, and mindful movement—experiences that honed her ability to craft peaceful spaces and tune into the unique needs of those in her care. These practices continue to guide her work, allowing her to offer patience, presence, and gentle attention to every cat she looks after.

Since 2015, Holli has dedicated herself to compassionate, personalized cat boarding. She founded a successful cat hotel, (the Scratching Post Cat Hotel in North Vancouver) which she later entrusted to a skilled caretaker from Mountainside Animal Hospital, ensuring her high standard of care endured.

Today, Holli carries this mission forward at Healing Pines Cat Retreat, a boutique, holistic boarding experience tailored to each cat’s personality and needs. Every feline guest receives individualized attention, comfort, and mindful care within a quiet, nurturing environment. Her approach emphasizes kindness, respect, and presence, helping cats feel secure, relaxed, and supported.

For those who choose, Holli incorporates modern therapeutic tools such as PEMF (Pulsed Electromagnetic Field) healing mats to promote relaxation and balance, as well as optional energy healing or Reiki sessions. Her vision goes beyond traditional boarding, creating a sanctuary where comfort, connection, and calm come together for every cat who visits.
